No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimates
At Palm Atlantic Behavioral Health, we believe in being transparent about the cost of care. Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the expected cost of your services.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured or choose to self-pay, you are entitled to a written estimate of costs before starting services.
This estimate will explain the expected charges for therapy or other healthcare services you schedule with us.
The estimate is not a bill. Actual costs may vary depending on the length and frequency of sessions and your specific treatment plan.
Our Current Payment Model
Palm Atlantic Behavioral Health is currently a private-pay practice. All clients will receive a Good Faith Estimate for services, and we also provide superbills if you wish to request out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance.
If Your Bill Is Higher Than Expected
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges.
You may contact us directly at (561) 206-4599 or support@palmatlanticbh.com to discuss the difference.
You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
